David Goldwater is a government affairs consultant for clients interested in working with the Nevada State Legislature. His background also includes tax policy, mortgage regulation, energy policy, and transportation regulation. Prior to his consulting role, he served as the president of Goldwater Capital Nevada LLC for 6 years, managing over $60 million in assets. The business provided mortgage investment services to individuals, as well as private corporations.

Before his investing and consulting businesses, he earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a Finance Major from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and studied at La Scuala di Administrazione Aziendle, Italy’s School of International Business. He also completed an Executive Master’s program in Leadership at the Darden School of Business at UVA. After completing his education, he served from 1994 to 2004 in the Nevada State Legislature, including chairing committees on Infrastructure, Taxation, and Commerce and Labor.
